Purple NiNi, is an R&B Chinese female singer-songwriter. Starting her musical journey at the tender age of 3 with piano lessons, Purple NiNi took the stage for the first time at 5. By 13, she was studying in Switzerland, performing at inter-school festivals. Returning to China at 16, she actively participated in various performance mediums. She claimed the Silver Award at the Shandong Provincial Youth Singer Contest during her undergraduate studies. Her talent led her to the Musicians Institute in the US, where she made history as the first Asian artist to receive the Outstanding Performer Award in 2016. Purple NiNi then ventured into acting, working as a background actor on Thunderman and Code Black sets at Paramount Pictures and Disney while crafting her original music. Inspired by 90s icons like Whitney Houston and contemporaries such as Kiana Lede, Ella Mai, and Muni Long, she recently completed her graduate studies at BIMM Institute in London. With a commitment to her craft, Purple NiNi plans to release a new original song every other month.
